Summer Health and Safety Tips

While summer is a time to relax and enjoy the outdoors, it also is a time to manage our personal health and safety, as well as that of our family’s. There are such health concerns as heat stroke, skin protection from the sun, water safety, and other issues. Knowing these health and safety tips could be a matter of life or death.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers us 6 Tips for a Healthy Summer. They includes eating a healthy diet, doing at least 150 minutes of aerobic activity per week, keeping cool in extreme heat, and more. The CDC also has other articles elaborating on summer health. They are

The American Cancer Society also has a page on their website detailing How to Have a Happy, Healthy Summer. Their recommendations include exercising while staying cool, eating right and how to prevent food poisoning, and protecting your skin from sun damage.
