Documentary Review: Jack of All Trades

Review: This documentary can get a little crazy with the narrative and sometimes it struggles to focus on its overall mission. However, if you have an interest in family stories and the impact of baseball cards, this documentary fulfills its purpose. Using Stu as the main subject, exploring the way that baseball cards shaped his childhood and his relationship with his father, adds a human interest twist to a scandal that can be boiled down to overproduction. This film shows an interesting snippet of history from one man’s life, that feeds into a much larger remembrance of the companion to America’s pastime.
