Documentary Review: The Booksellers

Review: This documentary is great for so many reasons. It is unapologetically New York, from a focus on Fran Lebowitz, to the narration by Parker Posey, and the cast of characters that make up the beautiful and odd world of rare books. Getting to sit and steep in the history of bookstores feels like a discovery, and the intrigue grows from the past as well as the present and the concern for the future. It is a treat to watch, and a remarkable story that must be told.
