If you’re like me and you enjoy crafting useful items out of recycled materials or creating something decorative and unique, then you should meet us at The Rainbow Senior Center. Every Wednesday from July 7 – August 25, Lindenhurst Library will host our “Creation Station” –just for seniors!  We will help you create some fun crafts like geometric canvas art, tin can herb gardens, sunflower door decorations and more!

On Wednesday, July 14th at 10:00 am we will show you how to make this decorative herb tin using recycled book pages, tin cans, Mod Podge and ribbon. It’s a lot of fun to make! Want to join us? Please register here. If you don’t have time to meet us this week, you can DIY at home by watching my Youtube video.

Not feeling very crafty? When you visit our “pop up library” at the senior center, you will be able to pick up a free book or DVD, join us for chair yoga or one of our film discussions, musical programs of history lectures.

The Rainbow Senior Center is located at 293 Buffalo Avenue in Lindenhurst. Hope to see you there.
