Caitlin is the Information Services and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Lindenhurst Library. She has two young kids and a commute, so she listens to a lot of audiobooks! Her favorite genres are mystery/thriller, contemporary romance, self help, and true crime nonfiction. She loves art and crafting and is currently obsessed with using her Cricut machine.
Janine is the Programming and Outreach Librarian. She enjoys her new role of planning and creating fun and educational programs for the library. She loves perusing through cookbooks, trying out new recipes, and creating DIY Pinterest videos for the library YouTube channel. In her spare time, she is busy outdoors or training her dog Xavier. In fact, he was the first Lindenhurst Library therapy dog!
Peter is the Librarian responsible for ordering and maintaining the Library’s Audio/Video collections and certain non-fiction books. He has a BA in Music from Stony Brook University and is interested in many different kinds of music has a large collection of recordings dating back to the 19th Century. A resident of West Babylon, he has worked for the Library in Information Services since 1999. He enjoys presenting monthly programs at the Library on Music, Lindenhurst and Long Island history.
Monika is the Publicity and Marketing Coordinator for the Lindenhurst Library. She enjoys reading non-fiction books especially true crime, self-help, and history! She loves spending time with her son and husband, and is dreaming about traveling aboard again!
Noel is a part time Information Services Librarian and has her MLIS from Syracuse University. She is a voracious reader and has many interests including sustainability, emerging adult programming, and LGBTQIA resources. She loves spending time with her niblings and her (almost) 20 year old frog.
Kara is originally from East Patchogue, New York, and is currently an MLIS student at Long Island University. She holds a Bachelor of English and Secondary Education from Stony Brook University, and she is the author of several young adult novels. She lives on the south shore with her husband, toddler, and rescue cat, Felix. When Kara isn’t writing, she is reading; some of her favorite authors are Gillian Flynn, Dennis Lehane, and Jane Harper.
